GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Davante Adams has a concussion after all.A day after the Green Bay Packers receiver said he had cleared the protocol after a hit that knocked him out of the loss to the Dallas Cowboys, Adams showed up on the injury report with a concussion.Adams left the game in the third quarter after a hit from Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee. The team announced he was being evaluated for a concussion. On his way out of the locker room Sunday night, Adams said he did not have one, but that changed Monday, when the Packers issued their first injury report in advance of Thursday nights game against the Chicago Bears. The quick turnaround might make it difficult for Adams to get cleared in time. He was one of three receivers to show up on the Packers injury report. The others -- Randall Cobb (back) and Jared Abbrederis (quad) -- also were new injuries. Cobb was on the report last week because of a neck injury but played 53 snaps and caught seven passes for 53 yards, including a touchdown against the Cowboys. The Packers also have issues at running back, where James Starks wont play this week after undergoing surgery Sunday to repair a torn meniscus and Eddie Lacy remains hobbled by a sprained left ankle; and cornerback, where they could be without their top three -- Sam Shields (concussion), Damarious Randall (groin) and Quinten Rollins (groin).Coach Mike McCarthy seemed more concerned about those two spots than receiver. ?I think obviously the stress points of our game-day roster for Thursday will be the running back position and the corner position, McCarthy said Monday. Any time youre dealing with your 53-man roster, how youre going to forecast how youre going to line up with the 46, youve got two positions that need attention and, frankly, these injuries that we have, theyre not of long-term IR nature. Thats all part of a normal season. Youve just got to work through it.Its Monday. Were still gathering information. I dont know if well have it sorted out until Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. The Packers will promote rookie running back Don Jackson from the practice squad, according to a source. They will need to clear a spot on the active roster Tuesday before they can make that move. The plan is for Jackson to be active Thursday night against the Bears so theyre not left with just one natural halfback, as they were against the Cowboys. Air Max 200 Herren . Daly Cherry-Evans can remember it clear as day.Slumped in last spot for most of last season, Manly had picked themselves up off the canvas to string together four wins on the trot and make a miraculous late push for the NRL finals. But their hopes vanished when they were upset by a struggling Parramatta side on their own turf.We just looked one week ahead, Cherry-Evans said on Thursday.I remember real clearly. We had Parramatta at Brookie Oval and we had the Roosters, who were going really well at the time, the week after. To put simply, we just didnt give the Eels the respect they deserved and they beat us. That was our finals race over. This years Sea Eagles are in almost the same predicament, sitting precariously in 12th spot but facing last-placed Newcastle at home on Sunday riding high on a three-game winning run.Just three weeks ago they were dead and buried on the back of a seven-game losing streak, but now they are fourr points out of the top eight with six regular season games remaining.ddddddddddddIts very similar to last season, the way its played out, Cherry-Evans agreed.Weve dug ourselves a very big hole to get out of but were under no illusions that we still have a lot of work to do to put ourselves into finals contention, let alone play finals football. The Sea Eagles No.7 insisted they would not make the same mistake again and were looking no further than the Knights.Theyre a very young side but I know with youth you get a lot of enthusiasm and you get a lot of excitement, he said. They have a lot of players that arent really established in the NRL but are trying to make a name for themselves through good football. So we need to make sure that we have our guard up and we pay them the respect they deserve.
